The near capacity crowd at Nyayo Stadium for the 2012 event means, as we anticipated, that the Sevens will move this year to Kasarani; more correctly to The Moi International Sports Centre with its capacity of 60,000. A few Patrons expressed misgivings about the atmosphere at Nyayo and I am sure there will be similar nervousness about Kasarani. However the moves do reflect the growing success of the event. Players and organisers are overwhelmingly in favour of this latest move. I am confident that Kasarani will be an even greater improvement than Nyayo, easier to access and ample parking.
